Lisbon is such a cute, 'trendy' city that is full of its unique quirks and style. It's very different to its Spanish counterparts of Madrid and Barcelona in my opinion.

The colourful buildings, the famous trams, the steeply inclined streets [I'm still not over these] and the

Pasteis de nata are only the beginning.

The city also has a lot of influence from other countries, as there are a number of Aussie brunch spots, Tapas joints and Scandinavian cafes.

The place comes alive at night, and so be sure to head out to the local bars, and of course try some Vinho Verde.
