You could walk round for hours in Santorini and soak in the picturesque views, the peaceful coastline and the stunning buildings. But here are some key things to go out and see when you're visiting.

1. Fira AND Oia
There is much debate about which of these locations is better to stay in Santorini. It’s probably a 50/50 split and I can absolutely see why. Both are stunning - and if you’re not planning on doing the Fira to Oia walk when you’re there, then think again!
2. Three Bells of Fira
You’ll find this cute little church when mooching around the streets of Fira, and it is a pretty photogenic spot. The blue domes and 3 bells are sweet enough, but the view from that area is also pretty epic.
3. Kamari Beach
If you fancy a unique beach experience, head to Kamari Beach. It won’t be the golden sand you see in Mykonos, but it’s black sand due to the volcano! There aren’t too many places in the world where you can see this, so add it to your list when in Santorini!
4. Red Beach
Not only does Santorini have black sand beaches, it also has red! Again this is a volcanic sand beach, and looks more like something you’d find at the Grand Canyon or Alice Springs rather than in Santorini. It’s a popular spot due to its uniqueness, so go and check it out!
5. Caldera
Santorini's volcano is visible from the island's west coast, and it looks magical when the sun is setting. You can hop on a tour that will take you out to see it up close and personal if you wish!
